GBF’s commitment to prayer is founded on the conviction that prayer is powerful, effective, and essential to the life of the church. We believe that God hears and answers the prayers of His people, working through them to accomplish His purposes. Committed to interceding for our church, community, and world, we gather with faith and expectancy, seeking God’s will and trusting in His promises. Whether through corporate prayer, small groups, or personal requests, we desire to cultivate a culture of steadfast and willing prayer, encouraging one another to draw near to God and depend on Him in all things.

God has His people the command & promise to: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:6-7
