“Grace” is central because it is by God’s grace that we’re even here. His grace allows us to see and display His glory. He has seen fit to assemble this body of believers to exalt His son, Jesus Christ — the One whose death and resurrection gives us peace with God and the hope of heaven. You will find that His grace is the common thread that runs through every ministry and expression of worship here.
The “Bible” is also primary at GBF because it is God’s special revelation of Himself to us. It is without error in its original manuscript, and is essential for living the life God provides in Christ. The Bible alone communicates God’s message of grace.
While “Grace” and “Bible” defines who we are, “Fellowship” (or community) is the context in which extending grace to one another is lived out. Fellowship means our common partnership with God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ (1 John 1:3). In the context of fellowship we grow in our understanding of the Bible, and we encourage one another to grow towards Christ likeness. Fellowship is the setting in which we equip one another to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
We are a Bible centered community seeking to display God’s glory by delighting in Him and declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ locally and globally.
